7. Maintenance and cleaning

7.1 Maintenance

 The instruments are maintenance-free.

 The indicator should be checked once or twice every year. The

gauge must be disconnected from the process to check with a

pressure testing device.

 Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer or appropri-

ately qualied skilled personnel.

7.2 Cleaning

Suitable for ‚in place‘ SIP and CIP cleaning processes, if appropriate

media are used and the permissible specications are complied with.

When cleaning from outside („wash down“), observe the permissible

temperature and ingress protection.

CAUTION!

 Wash or clean the dismounted instrument before

returning it, in order to protect persons and the

environment from exposure to residual media.

8. Faults

Following any failure or shut-down of the plant all instruments should

be checked and, if necessary, replaced before recommissioning the

plant.
