6. Commissioning, operation

■

For ange mounting, only use sealings with a suciently large inner diameter and centre them;

contact with the diaphragm leads to measuring errors.

■

When using soft or PTFE sealings, observe the instructions of the sealing manufacturer, particularly

with regard to tightening torque and load cycles.

■

When using a welding socket, position this so that the hole for leakage detection points downwards.

Weld the welding socket ush with the inner wall of the vessel and grind down. The surface rough-

ness of the ground surfaces should be better than Ra ≤ 0.8 µm.

6.2 Making the electrical connection

The instrument must be earthed via the process connection!

■

For cable outlets, make sure that no moisture enters at the cable end.

6.3 Zero point adjustment

Check the indicated zero point on the display during commissioning.

Should an oset be displayed as a result of installation, this can be reset in programming mode with the

0SET parameter (see chapter 6.7 "Menu").

If a shut-o valve is available, open it slowly after installation in order to avoid pressure

surges.
