Observe the applicable regulations for the use

of Ex-class instruments (e. g.: EN 60079-0:

2006, EN 60079-11: 2007, EN 60079-26: 2007,

EN 60079-27: 2006 + 2008, EN 61241-0: 2006,

EN 61241-11: 2006, EN 60079-15: 2005).

Do not use transmitters with any damage to the exterior!

■

Do not congure the transmitter, programming unit

(PU-448) and PC in hazardous areas!

2.4 Special hazards

WARNING!

Observe the information given in the applicable type

examination certicate and the relevant country-

specic regulations for installation and use in potentially

explosive atmospheres (e.g. IEC 60079-14, NEC, CEC).

Non-observance can result in serious injury and/or

damage to the equipment.

For additional important safety instructions for instruments

with ATEX approval, see chapter 8 “Information on

mounting and operation in hazardous areas (Europe)”.

WARNING!

For hazardous media such as oxygen, acetylene,

ammable or toxic gases or liquids, and refrigeration

plants, compressors, etc., in addition to all standard

regulations, the appropriate existing codes or regulations

must also be followed.
